Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago theatre before moving on to television and film. Anna had her first big part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. In the mid 2000's she was given the role of Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is a podcast consisting of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's story.
