Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known Ashanti. Ashanti was birthed on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a musician, singer and actress from the United States. Ashanti, a teenage singer-songwriter and actress from the United States had her name signed by Murder Inc. Records to release her debut album in 2002. In the same year, she made an appearance in The Fat Joe's What's Luv? And Fat Joe's What's Lulv? In the year she debuted her debut single"What's Luv, at number two at the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at number one and Foolish as her first single, she was the only female to achieve this feat. The Declaration, Ashanti's fourth studio album, was released on 3 June 2008. The 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was made available to the radio and online outlets. She appeared as a character in the Christmas in the City film and also played Latasha on Army Wives. Aitch performs the Rock wit U song for Baby on March 10, 2022.
